"Searching for Kapwa" is an award winning documentary about #identity, #history, and #belonging. Themes include #immigration, #colonialism, living as part of a #diaspora, functioning and thriving as a member of more than one #underrepresented group in the United States, and more.
This film was the centerpiece of the 2023 #FilipinoFilmFestival in San Diego. AND - the creator of this film - Larry Lariosa - was a therapist at #MerrittCollege‼️
