Join us Thursday, Oct. 17, at noon in the R110 Huey P. Newton Student Lounge for an insightful discussion on disabilities and race.
Ms. Brown, a lecturer at San Francisco State University, will explore the intersection of historical racism, implicit bias, and disability in America.

The UC Berkeley Underground Scholars will be at Merritt College on Thursday 8/22/24 from 12-4pm.
They will discuss their program, which includes:
▪️ USI Transfer Cohort that supports formerly incarcerated & systems impacted students with their transfer application to Cal
▪️ BUS Ambassador Program which hires and trains dozens of ambassadors at community colleges throughout the state each year. This paid opportunity trains students in public speaking, policy advocacy, among other leadership skills.
▪️ Cross-Enrollment Courses at UC Berkeley (while a community college student) with Underground Scholars
