On behalf of the Hispanic Serving Institutional- Leadership Network (HSI-LN), and as co-chair for the organization, I am pleased to invite you to join our HSI-LN Bi-Annual Symposium “Sustaining Equity and Transformation” on Friday, December 10th from 9:00am-12:30pm. This is a free event and will feature as keynote speaker, Dr. Carlos Cortez, Chancellor of San Diego Community College District.
The conference will have three tracks:
- Understanding equity implications for CA HSI’s through policy
- Transformational practices that impact recruitment, retention, and graduation of Latinx males in Community Colleges
- Sustaining the Latinx professional pipeline through opportunities for growth
HSI leaders, administrators, classified professionals, faculty, and students are encouraged to attend.
