Here in the East Bay, we live in an earthquake zone, so it’s important that we all know what to do to keep as safe as possible during a quake.  The Great California Shakeout on October 17, 2024, at 10:17am, is an opportunity to test our emergency preparedness in case of an earthquake.  On that day and time, the Peralta Community College District will test our emergency communication system, Rave, by sending you all a text and email message advising you of the Great Shakeout emergency earthquake test.

October is National Substance Abuse Prevention Month, and at the Peralta Colleges, we want to take a moment to talk about something important: your well-being.

Earlier this semester during Welcome Week, we had a chance to catch up with Gail  Pendleton, Enrollment Services Coordinator at Berkeley City College. She told us about some of the many resources available to students and encouraged them to join or create clubs.
