Meet Mohammad Edrees Nassimi, Laney College and EOPS alum. All it took was a little guidance and support from EOPS to get Mohammad from Laney to San Jose State University!
EOPS is available to assist students with support services like early registration, academic counseling, career guidance, tutoring, book grants, transfer assistance, and tons more. The EOPS program welcomes all eligible students at all 4 of our campuses: Berkeley City College, College of Alameda, Laney College, and Merritt College.

"EOPS gave me the guidance and resources for support in my life and during my education journey to navigate my education successfully from Laney College to transferring to a 4-year university, which I am doing now at San Jose State University. All EOPS services are great. The one that mostly benefited me was the book voucher, which provided me financial support, and counseling services were essential and give you a great plan and guide you what to follow, when to graduate, it makes you successful in your classes. [It's] a lot from a program that makes sure you're following everything and have a great plan for your future. This program is great, take advantage of it."
