On Friday, October 11th, Chancellor Tammeil Gilkerson attended "Guided Pathways”, a Student Government Retreat at College of Alameda organized by Student Trustees Sophia Parmigiani and Pierce Byrne.
Earlier this semester during Welcome Week, we had a chance to catch up with Gail Pendleton, Enrollment Services Coordinator at Berkeley City College. She told us about some of the many resources available to students and encouraged them to join or create clubs. On February 28th, Peralta Community College District (PCCD) Student Trustees Natasha Masand and Naomi Vasquez hosted the first of what we hope will be ongoing gatherings of student leaders from across the district. The meeting, held at the Chancellor’s conference room, was attended by more than 16 leaders representing the Associated Students organizations across the Peralta Colleges.
