On Friday, October 11th, Chancellor Tammeil Gilkerson attended "Guided Pathways”, a Student Government Retreat at College of Alameda organized by Student Trustees Sophia Parmigiani and Pierce Byrne. Board Vice President Louis Quindlen was also present, as well as twenty other Associated Student Government leaders from across the district. Topics included the Brown Act, Robert’s Rules of Order, tips on running effective meetings, and communicating the results, all in an effort to engage and empower students via student government.  

The Peralta District Marketing team was there making sure each of the leaders had college-branded hoodies for pictures.
