The Board of Trustees of the Peralta Community College District (PCCD) have appointed Dr. Jannett Jackson as Interim Chancellor of the District effective April 16, 2021. Dr. Jackson is an experienced CEO having served as the esteemed Chancellor of the Chabot-Los Positas Community College District from 2013 to 2018 when she retired, and most recently as Interim President of Skyline Community College in San Bruno in 2019-2020.

Laney College Representatives Meet with OUSD To Collaborate on Student Support

Outreach, Recruitment & Enrollment representatives from Laney College, along with some of their student support groups and learning communities, met with Oakland Unified School District representatives from nine of their high schools, as well as some of their central staff on March 11. Staff from each school was a mix of counselors, work-based learning coordinators, transition specialists, and college/career specialists, as well as a few outside college access partners.
BCC Student Artwork to be Displayed at Berkeley YMCA

The Berkeley YMCA will display the artwork of two Berkeley City College students: Daniel Phounsavan and Greg Singleton. Both of the featured pieces were a part of the Artists Resisting Soda city-wide contest that took place earlier this year.

Mehouelley as Chief Technology & Information Systems Officer. He reports to Dr. Carla Walter, Interim Chancellor.
