On Thursday, September 26th, Chancellor Tammeil Gilkerson joined President Dixon and a strong team from College of Alameda on board the USS Hornet for an excellent event hosted by the Alameda Chamber & Economic Alliance. The event included a “Fiscal Fireside Keynote Conversation” with California State Treasurer Fiona Ma and State Controller Malia Cohen. Chancellor Gilkerson also participated as a panelist discussing the Alameda Economic Forecast. There were more than 300 people attending.

For those who aren’t familiar, National Public Radio (NPR) has a show titled "Tiny Desk", a video series of live concerts hosted by NPR Music at the desk of former All Songs Considered host Bob Boilen in Washington, D.C.
