Merritt College Kicks Off Fall 2024 with Vibrant Express Enrollment Events
As the Fall 2024 semester approaches, Merritt College is hosting a series of Express Enrollment events aimed at streamlining the student application and registration processes, while also connecting students to essential resources. These events enhance student engagement and provide comprehensive support in a vibrant, welcoming environment.
Laney College Continues to Address Food Insecurity Through New Food Pantry
Laney’s Basic Needs Center and Food Services are proud to announce that support for students continues with its Food Pantry, a permanent space in the Student Center opening in Fall 2020. Using a “grab and go” consumer model, students have access to needed nutrition and will be able to get food in a way that destigmatizes food insecurity.
COA Hosts Annual Committed Day and In-Person Orientation for the 2024-2025 Incoming Class
On Thursday, July 25, 2024, College of Alameda hosted CoA Committed Day and the first In-Person Orientation since the pandemic. Both events were designed to engage, inform, and prepare our new students for the 2024-25 academic year. Preparing for our incoming students was campus campus-wide collaborative effort.
Fall 2024 Preparations at BCC’s Manager’s Retreat
On Thursday, August 8, Berkeley City College administrators convened at their annual Manager’s Retreat at the Faculty Club at UC Berkeley. President Richardson led the group through team-building exercises, an overview of the College’s strategic plan, a discussion on innovative approaches to closing equity gaps, and a review of the Mission, Vision, and Values.
