Merritt College's Two-Day Express Enrollment Event Energizes Students with Support and Services
Merritt College’s Two-Day Express Enrollment Event commenced this past weekend. Students were greeted with music, snacks, and most important, services ranging from Admissions and Records support, counseling, and financial aid.

One-Stop Saturday to Ready Students, Community for New Semester
The community is invited to Laney’s January 18 One-Stop Saturday, which will provide students with comprehensive services to prepare for a successful semester. Scheduled from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM on the Laney Campus in Building A, the event will allow students to select classes and register prior to the January 21 start of the Spring semester.

Many people go to universities for the “college experience” when programs such as UMOJA can provide just as rich experiences along with opening up new doors and connections to cultures and opportunities. UMOJA, like any other student support system, aims to assist the students who join its program. Where UMOJA stands out though is in the experiences they give to their scholars who join and how deeply connected they are to the African Diaspora community.
