Transfer Day 2025
Laney College hosted Transfer Day on Monday, October 6, bringing college and university representatives to campus to meet directly with students. The event, held in the Laney Quad, provided students the opportunity to explore programs and majors, ask questions about admissions, and gather important information on transfer requirements and deadlines.

Strategic Scheduling Yields Strong Enrollment and Increased Productivity at Merritt College
With the Fall 2025 semester fully underway, I am pleased to share that Merritt College is in a very strong position as it pertains to our enrollment picture this term. Compared to this same time last year, we are currently offering 39 fewer sections and utilizing 13 fewer FTEF. And yet, we have only 88 fewer students attending the college (which resulted in an increase in productivity from 13.92 to 15.47).
