Members of the Peralta community are no strangers to exhibiting "Thought Leadership", as employees participate in – and lead – statewide organizations focused on California community colleges.
This thought leadership was again on display at the 31st Annual Conference of the Community College Facility Coalition on November 6-8 in Rancho Mirage CA. The Peralta contingent led by Deputy Chancellor & COO Greg Nelson gave not one, but two presentations during the conference.
The first presentation, “Preserving the Past, Preparing for the Future: Maintenance in an Era of Aging Facilities”, was presented by COO Nelson with Rachel Brillant from Husch Blackwell, and Veronica Rivera from College of the Siskious. The second presentation was on “Procurement Prowess, Mastering the Art of Acquisition” with Director of Purchasing Chalon Rogers and Rachel Brilliant.
Way to go Greg and Chalon! Thank you for representing Peralta in such a positive way.
