On January 24, 2025, Oakland Soul Sports Club proudly announced its return to Merritt College for the upcoming 2025 USL W League season. Merritt College has been the home of Soul for the past two seasons, during which the team has maintained an undefeated record on campus.

 

“We love Merritt College,” said Oakland Soul SC President, Lindsay Barenz. “The staff, the faculty, the views, and everything about playing our W League games at Merritt has been phenomenal. We can’t wait to be back in 2025 for more Soul game days.”

Stay tuned for the announcement of the 3rd Annual Oakland Roots and Soul Doubleheader, featuring Oakland Soul kicking off the evening at the Oakland Coliseum.

 

With the 2025 venue now set, Oakland Soul Members will receive communication about 2025 Membership renewals in the coming weeks.
