College of Alameda Student Jonathan Salic expresses his passion for fashion design. He highlights how College of Alameda's Apparel Design and Merchandising (ADAM) program gave him the opportunity to pursue his childhood dream, and how the program benefits the Latin Community as a whole.

"Hi, my name is Jonathan. I'm a Fashion Designer student. I'm in the ADAM program Apparel Design and Merchandising (ADAM). So, my experience in the school, it's been great because I'm originally from Guatemala and in my country, I never had the opportunity to go to fashion school, but here I have this opportunity. College of Alameda has opportunities for the Latin Community which is great for us. I'm finally learning what I really was wishing from when I was a kid to learn about that creative and doing my designs. At this school, they teach you well all the skills that you need to know about fashion from the first sketch to the last stitch. So, they will teach you very well."
