We are excited to have begun the Fall 2023 semester at our four Peralta colleges. Congratulations are in order for students taking their first steps in reaching their education and career goals.
Fall is Free at each of the four colleges for qualifying students. To qualify for Fall is Free, students must be:
- A California resident and complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
OR - An AB540 student and complete a Dream Act application
There is help available at each college with completing residency or AB540 forms or the FAFSA or Dream Act application. If you or someone you know needs help, you/they should reach out to the resources on their campus for assistance.
If a student qualifies for Fall is Free, all their Fall 2023 fees will be paid including:
- Student enrollment fee
- AC transit
- Health
- Parking Fees
- Campus Use
- Student Representation fee
After a student submits the required documentation, they will continue to see fees due on their account until they are removed automatically at a later date.
All students who qualify for Fall is Free, are enrolled in 6+ units and get a student ID at the college, will receive an AC Transit Easy Pass. Once the pass is available, it can be picked up at the campus cashier's office.
