The Peralta Community College District is looking to hire a permanent Chancellor.

At a Special Meeting of the Board of Trustees on January 12, 2021, the Board selected AGB Search as the search firm to assist the District in conducting a nationwide search for a new Chancellor. Search Consultants Dr. Kim Bobby and Dr. Richard Wueste will be heading the search.

At the regular Board of Trustees meeting on January 19, 2021, the Board selected three community members (and one alternate) to serve on the Chancellor Selection Committee. The community members selected are Adrien Abuyen, Richard Sherratt, and Lailan Sandra Huan.  Josie Camacho was designated as the alternate.

In accordance with Board Policy 2431, and in order to obtain District-wide and broad community input and feedback to help develop the chancellor’s profile or job description, separate listening sessions have been organized for all stakeholders, including, but not limited to, students, classified and confidential employees, faculty, administrators, members of the community, and the Board of Trustees.

With the preceding paragraph in mind, a series of listening sessions with Dr. Bobby and Dr. Wuest will be held Tuesday, February 9, 2021
