Grace and Corbett Lunsford explore the science of homes through the lens of disasters, both natural and human-made. The Lunsfords interview over 50 researchers, share stories of homeowners affected by these disasters, and posit solutions- don’t worry, they make sure the scary stories have hopeful endings. By turning the lens on the physics, chemistry, and microbiology that changes when building science goes awry, we’ll be better armed to predict and prevent these side effects by building resilience into homes of all types, and by testing and verifying it works before the crisis comes.
