These are challenging times. The Peralta Colleges Basic Needs staff are aware of the federal government shutdown's impact on SNAP/EBT/CalFresh. And we are here to help. Please view this PDF with relevant information as of October 27, 2025.
The PCCD Basic Needs Centers will continue to be here to support students' Basic Needs. All of our free food pantry hours will still remain the same, thanks to our partnerships with Alameda County Community Food Bank (ACCFB) and Berkeley Food Network (BFN).
- Berkeley City College: Thursdays, 12 PM — 3 PM @ Basement, Atrium
- College of Alameda: 2nd & 4th Tuesdays, 11:30 AM — 1:30 PM @ F Building
- Laney College: Weds & Thurs, 11 AM — 1 PM & 3 PM — 5 PM @ Student Center
- Merritt College: Thursdays, 12 PM — 4 PM @ R-28
