On Tuesday, October 15th, Laney College held its 8th-anniversary celebration of "Restoring Our Communities", a student success program supporting formerly incarcerated students. For 8 years, ROC has been dedicated to eliminating the stigma of being formerly incarcerated and reversing the effects of mass incarceration. ROC supports students from reentry to graduation and transfer. Congratulations to Roger Chung, Kimm Blackwell, Cemone Harper, Vincent Garrett, Elisa Leon, and the entire ROC team for 8 years of truly transformational work.
