Welcome Back to the faculty members of the Peralta Community College District -- Berkeley City College, College of Alameda, Laney College, and Merritt College -- who have been on break since the end of the Fall 2024 term in early December. We're glad you're back!
We hope you can join us on Thursday, January 16, 2025, for the district-wide Professional Development "Flex Day" that will take place at Laney College. The day's full schedule of informative training and informational sessions kick off with breakfast at the Laney College Theater beginning at 8:00am.
The Spring 2025 District Flex Day is organized by Laney College professors Marla Leech and Chelsea Cohen, who also serve as the district's Professional Development Co-Coordinators. Chelsea and Marla have organized what promises to be a terrific day of professional development in preparation for the Spring term.
Dr. Tammeil Gilkerson, Chancellor of the Peralta Community College District, will give her presentation at 9:20am in the Laney Theater. January 2025 marks her one-year anniversary at Peralta so come hear her thoughts on the past year and find out what is ahead for us in 2025 and beyond.
