Dear PCCD Colleagues,
Public forums for the finalists for PCCD Chancellor are scheduled for next Wednesday, October 25, as detailed below and on the PCCD Chancellor Search website. My colleagues and I on the Board of Trustees encourage you to participate in the forums to hear directly from candidates about their preparation and vision for leading our District. We look forward to reviewing your feedback as part of our process.
Public Forum Schedule & Access
All public forums will be held in the Boardroom at the Peralta Community College District Office and will be live-streamed via Zoom and recorded* for viewing by those unable to attend as scheduled:
*PLEASE NOTE: Recordings of Finalists Forums will be available for viewing & feedback responses (see below) until Noon, Saturday, October 28th to allow time for the Board to review feedback results before decision-making.
The format of all forums will be consistent: a 45-minute live event, moderated by Screening Committee Chair, Dr. David Johnson, President of Merritt College, with the opportunity for finalists to introduce themselves and respond to questions prepared in advance from internal and external community member suggestions.

Board Decision & Announcement
The Board of Trustees will announce our new Chancellor by November 15. The anticipated start date for the new Chancellor is January 1, 2024.
