The Street Scholars and other Rising Scholars programs around the state are teaming up with The Access Project, a non-profit legal services organization, to provide clean slate services to our student community. Expunging your record and reducing your felonies, wherever possible, can make a difference when you are applying for jobs, looking for housing, and working to put the justice system behind you.
To get started, you need to register at AccessProjectCA.org/RSN. Then, attend the kickoff meeting on Friday March 24, 2023 at 11am-1pm OR 4pm-6pm. This meeting will take place at Merritt College in The Love-Moss Center in room P-112. If you need help finding P-112, please arrive a few minutes early and call 341-208-8070 so we can meet up with you. The easiest way is to park in the "A" Lot and walk on the pathway to the P building. P-112 is located on the 1st floor.
A representative from The Access Project will be here to introduce the program and answer your questions, and a Live Scan operator will be onsite to process your fingerprints so that you can get a copy of your official RAP sheet.
